FARMERS COTTAGE
Just under 10 minutes from Fairlie, 40 min from Lake Tekapo and only 1.5 hr from MT Cook, is our Farmers cottage.You will have the complete cottage to yourself. It offers a lovely open plan layout with all the bedrooms opening up to the lounge with a huge, and very functional, wood burner. There is a private deck of the kitchen and a cute little loft for even better views over the paddocks towards Mt Dobson and the other peaks.
Alpaca Walk
During your stay we offer a free animal tour of 1 hour, whereby you will visit some of our friendly animals incl bottle feeding our pet lambs (Aug-Dec), an Alpaca walk, and our friendly horses, cats, dogs and chickens. Collect your own eggs each morning and while cooking you can watch the alpacas and sheep whilst chatting with your family and friends by the fire or at the macrocarpa dining table.

Getting around: There is plenty of room for off street parking and two carports for smaller vehicles.
“Two of the most beautiful nights at Marianne and Pascals rural oasis. We had our 14month old with us and she had such a lovely time with the animals, as well as being able to roam around the house. Wish we could have stayed longer – next time. The mulled wine, bread, milk and fresh eggs were such a treat. And the hot tub at night and early morning in the frost. So lovely. We will be back!”
